Pleasant and informative, Sam walked us through the issues we were experiencing which turned out to be minor, and checked the system as he explained how it worked and why it had limitations due to age. A contractor friend of mine referred me to Sam to install a generator transfer switch in our 1980s home. From the start, Sam was very upfront and detailed about the work that needed to be done and the options available. We agreed on a plan and scheduled the work. Unfortunately, when he came to install the switch, he diagnosed some issues with my panel that most likely stemmed from the original builder or homeowner renovations. These issues made the panel unserviceable. Sam explained the problems and again provided us with options moving forward. In the end, he completely replaced our electrical panel and installed the transfer switch as requested. He spent a 12.5-hour day here ensuring we had power before leaving for the night, only to return in the morning to finish the job. He even fixed some unrelated issues for free. The entire installation was carried out very professionally and carefully. I have no doubt we not only avoided what could have been a disaster but also increased the value of our home. Sam was amazing to work with. We had a dryer outlet that the previous owners had disconnected at the panel while getting some other work done. Sam was attentive to what we wanted done, efficient, and got things back in working order quickly. Sam is great! We found him while searching for a late night emergency electrician. He came out that night, made sure everything was safe and functional for the time being, then completed the work after the weekend. The job ended up turning into a bigger issue than originally thought, but he was fair, communicative, and made sure the job was done right. If you are not sure which company to go with, Sam is trustworthy and won’t over charge you like many other well known companies around!
